Got Myself on Vanessa Feltz…

And didn’t manage to mention the book, let alone the reading I was going to do last night! Wake up woman!

I love Vanessa’s show, and listen whenever I can, but this time it was all a bit grim, and the tone unbearably sentimental. They were talking about ‘Saving Amy’, and rescuing La Winehouse from the terrible evils of crack. Oh dear. That Sun video portrayed someone stumbling around getting wasted at home of an evening, not a girl in despair. I well know that if anyone had been so patronising as to suggest ‘saving’ me back in the day, I would have given them the finger in no uncertain terms.
