Chatting to a radio researcher earlier today, I heard about this piece by John Sutherland in the Financial Times, about drinking memoirs.
There is, ahem, a lovely error in there, obviously picked up from the text of Cleaning Up, and which I actually discovered a couple of weeks ago. It will be corrected for the paperback. But do I really wish I was still in my ‘early thirties’?
