OK, OK, so my ’stats’ were a bit over the top for a serious news programme, but I think a significant number of the voting – and even more of the opinion-forming – population has some sort of hangover on a given day.
Anyway, I blame the neighbours. There was some sort of chimps tea party going on all night – reminded me of the old days – with a mere three people making a really honourable amount of noise until at least seven o’clock in the morning, when the woman living below them finally let rip.
