Two websites that made me howl with laughter

First, spEak You’re bRanes, which is a round up of the crassest and most idiotic comments on the BBC’s Have Your Say forum. Its creator, Matt Southall, wrote a piece about it in the Guardian yesterday. Wish I’d found it before. The comments are pretty priceless too.

Going round his site led me to Baby’s Named A Bad, Bad Thing which is a roundup, gleaned again from the web (where else), of some of the crassest and most idiotic names people are proposing to give their impending babies.

Given the stressed, jumping-from-a-tall-building mood I was in, both sites made me cackle very loudly and for this I am grateful. Doubtless both sites have their detractors, of the ‘everyones entitled to there own opinion u middle class wankers’ sort, but such are the rich rewards of free speech.
