Two more days left until the election closes. Two more days of the thrilling yet sickening agony of not-knowing, knee deep in hashtags on Twitter.
Or two more days to spend in Barking & Dagenham helping Hope Not Hate spread the word against the BNP, who are trying to take over the local council.
I donated something this morning, and then found myself about to burst into tears, for some reason. It may be hormones, or the fact that I just did three days’ work in two. But it might be because while my life may not be perfect, there isn’t a bunch of people out there who want to hunt me down and throw me out of the UK.
Hope Not Hate need donations so they can print more leaflets, and they need people to go down there and deliver them.
I’ve got a lot more to say on all this, but that’s all for now. If you’ve got some spare time or spare cash, you know what to do.
