My freelance journalism has appeared in many national publications, including the Guardian, Independent, New Statesman, Independent on Sunday, Marie Claire, Irish Independent, Evening Standard, Daily Mail, Cosmopolitan, Daily Express, Red, Fabric, Scarlet, Erotic Review, Diva, Times, TLS, Esquire, where I had a column, and Time Out, where I had an advice column for two years, and wrote features and reviews. I was a reporting trainee at the Sunday Times, and was a reporter/sub on an English language paper in Istanbul. I am not afraid to use my own life experience to give depth to my work, and have written frankly about personal situations when I think it might help illustrate an issue, or be of help to others. I also blog, about both current issues and personal ones. My main and favourite subject is, very broadly, health.
